I was thinking of doing a plum crazy purple with the gloss black back over fenders. Do kind of an old school mopar theme to it

Gloss would not be correct for the rear fenders with a mopar theme...

So plum crazy purple (or as close as I can find) with flat black rear widebody fenders. That sounds sweet. Twisted Evil

Just google Plum Crazy Purple Hemi Cuda and youll see what they are saying about the flat black rear quarters. Please dont Mopar theme it. That is unless you source a viper v10 and stuff it in it. Im all for more purple 240's tho.

I was more going for the color scheme than actual decals. If I find a viper v10 that is getting tricked out and put into the camaro

you can build a big block for your camaro and pro charge it for half the price of a viper v10. And not have an angry mob come after you

ya but a big stack of cash in your pocket, and a twin turbo big block would be even more fun. I just cant justify spending a TON of money for 2 more cylinders and 600hp. Where you can spend half, what you would on a venom racing motor, on a big block chevy(that drops rite in) with twin 108mm turbos capable of running 8s. With the car setup to match.

I'm not planning on the v10 but if I did it would end up with some sts turbos.

So here is an update pics will come later. My single slammer finally gave up after 210 000 miles. It has been pulled and the dohc is getting ready to be thrown in tonight hopefully. I have been working on a custom hatch interior to quiet up the exhaust and stop the fumes from coming in. Since at the moment there is nothing back there. Thinking about getting a noname short throw on the trans since it is out of the car. Anyway merry Christmas everyone.

don't buy those no name shifters. i had one that came in my old car and the thing sucked ass. it was so hard to shift. the stock shifters are fine. maybe look into the tanabe "mission bush kit" it has a little collar that makes the stock shifter stiffer by eliminating that inner rubber bushing deflection.

Yeah I want the short throw because the shifted that is in the car has way too much play you can almost move it from one side of the console to the other when its in gear.

Yeah get me that paint code and maybe in the spring I will paint it all that color.

For the shifter, check if that small white bushing that actually installs on the end of the shifter on the trans. side is worn out. When I had my oem shifter mine wore out and it was all sorts of wobbly. They cost a buck or three to buy from nissan and it will make a big difference in the feel of your shifter. Otherwise as has been stated in the past by myself and others if you want a short shifter go with B&M. I had a cheap megan and it is trash, so i picked up a B&M and it shifts like butter and the throw is super short. No more ROW, ROW, ROW your boat for me.
