What did you do to your car today?

i took my car back apart bc of a oil leak on the turbo
so now im gonna take my manifold in to get coated so its not an eye sore...

Removed most parts/hardware from head so it can be dropped off at machine shop. cleaned parts as well. Many things ordered hopefully it will be together in a few more weeks.

Put my aero on yesterday

I know I need that shit stat. Might make my own position lights instead of dropping mad $$$ on OE ones.

VH should be started soon, just ordered the swap kit from Xcessive and got my headers from Mazworx last week

Went fishing with my little cousin and snapped a nice shot of my aunt's gauges. Came out very sharp.

Also tried to set my SR's timing and ended up with the car not starting anymore.
Checked what wiring and connections I could in the dark, nothing looks out of place. Will mess with it more in the morning.

Edit: Reset the ECU and she starts again. Didn't know a code could cause that.

Disassembled the rest of my head this last weekend. Found out that the b*tch already has a 3-angle valve job +1. And dropped that POS off at the machine shop to get it milled. Hopefully reassembly will commence later this week. Also found to to upgrade my houses electrical service from 100A to 200A.

Drove it for work again. Surprised its still holding together after the abuse I give it. Maybe if your in my delivery area you will see it.

liz is your car in that bad shape? though next winter is when i plan on doing a major overhaul to mine. i just am happy to drive mine for work even if i don't get the gas mileage i was getting with the single slammer.

No Its almost ready. Just gotta figure out some wiring on the map sensor. Which involves me having ambition.......

If we can figure that out it can get tuned on the 17th but I'm sure it won't work out that easy

Picked up my milled head and exhaust manifold today time to start reassembly.

Getting parts for head cleaned and ready for assembly.

finally put my coils on. and attempted to put my rucas on.... fuck that didnt work lol

A project car is never done!

I carefully regapped my plugs to .025 and retightened my engine grounds, though it did nothing at all to help my boost issues. Next up is a boost leak test.
