Figure spring is just around the corner, time to update this.

So last spring/summer consisted of a bunch of this:


went threw engine 4 harnesses, to say screw it and then built my own from scratch to get this:




got a whole 15 mins in breaking the new motor in and the oil pump quit. Luckily i was watching oil pressure when it went to 0 and got it shut off in time. At this point i also realized i have never liked "sileightys" so the front went away as well and i bought wheels.


Flip ups went back on and the rear subframe came out (also started buying tires)



Ordered too many parts and now im waiting for the weather to become bearable so i can work in the garage and get this s14 subframe in and the motor finished.

Not much of an update but its something to keep me motivated.

Looking for more 17" spares and s14 front knuckles and lower control arms. So let me know if youve got something

nice set up! i had an '89 with an sr. it did cost a lot at the time(over 10yrs ago) for parts, but fully built w/400+whp&wtq (i think it was 423whp 449wtq) and full 23lbs of boost @3250rpm all the way to 9000rpm or so = TONS of fun. it weighed 2580 with me in it and the rear was heavier than the front. you can pass vettes and a LOT of other cars while leaving dual strips. ENJOY!!

Updates for my sanity at this point.

1. Got the black car running great then out of no where the oil pump decided to give up. Feeling distraught by this i go out and do the worst thing possible. I bought another car. 94 hatch with another sr. First lapping day out it gets totaled when an e96 loses it.

2. Parted what was salvageable and surfed craigslist until i came across this:


Bare shell noth but subframes attached. Just the way i wanted it.Barely made it home after blowing 2 trailer tires in construction on I90 then the trailer getting hit by a cement truck.


I knew the original owner so i had a pretty good back ground of what its been through, plus its got a full cage. And safety is all ive wanted since the last wreck.

Car sat for a good month or two while life took place. Got married, finish rehab after blowing my leff knee up, and traveled everywhere for work.

So the time came to finally start what ive been trying to do for a while. Car made it into the garage and it became game time.



I already had 90% of everything i needed so i ordered the bare minimum needed.





Tried the pbm high mount to find out it wont fit



Took a matter of maybe a month to get it this point




Bought dmax fenders a version select bumper and maverick motorsports dual caliper brackets




Got it aligned properly and now its getting crappy out and unfortunately i only have a 2 car and my black car is permanently in it and the wife isnt giving her side. But its not over for the season yet for me. A new motor will be built as my stock sr with gt2860r is fun but not stupid amounts of power fun. So stay tuned for the new motor.

The black car will get attention over the winter. How far i go with the new motor dictates how much attention it gets. Or if i keep it all together.
