92 240sx with 2jz swap...

Hi my name is Joel I am from PA. Found this site from a link on Supra forums.
I have been an auto mechanic for 13+ year and grew up in a shop environment.

Got a 92 240sx with a 2jz swap. It had an rb25 swap a few years ago but traded for a 2jz when I realized how cool these motors are and how easy the fit in the 240.

I just got it running again after my clutch failed and my crank pulley fell apart. I just got done putting a 6765 turbo on. The old clutch was an xtr 6 puck and it did last for 4 years at 440 whp so I can't complain for a $200 clutch. I ended up getting an ACT extreme 6 puck. Didn't have 1500+ to spend on a twin disk.

you dont need a twin disk anyways. ive driven a few g35's and z's with them and they suck ass for street use. nothing but chatter and a stiff pedal. at your power level you dont need one.

How in the hell are you keeping taht car cool with the stock radiator? i do like your fpr mounting spot as well as your upper coolant hose.

What do you consider cool? I run around 195-205 driving around in this weather (70-75 degree F) The radiator isn't a factory one it's an all metal stock replacement rad. I made sure I have the space between the FMIC and radiator sealed up to keep airflow through the radiator. I don't drive the car when it gets really hot so I don't know how it would run in the summer heat.

yeah it looked like a stocker radiator.

I just know 95% of JZ s-chassis guy's cars run HOT even with big/good radiator.

that rad looks like the koyo factory replacement wich is a lot beefier than stock.

how do u like the se-r shift knob??? dam i really miss my spec v

Couple more pics. The SE-R shift knob was the only one I had laying around that fit the threads. I have a lot of honda parts laying around from my early days.

I love the conduit straps holding down the fuel lines in the trunk.
