ugly aero n stupid bodykits build

Tbh man I just took this class in school its a community college 500 bucks for the class bring your own engine learn about it and build it if your school or local community college offers something like it take it plus my buddy pavel is helping me

Did some lecture in class and learned how to do 45 degree valve face cut it was pretty damn easy

Grinded down the tip and made a 45 degree chamfer on this machine since it makes PERFECT chamfers

So the nextweek I got sick then my classmate eric worked on the head with out me we were doing 3 angle seat jobs a 30 degree 45 degree and a 60 degree. Anyway some dick took the stone that eric was using and switched it with a smaller 45 degree stone so pretty much pitted one of the seats. Sent it to napa by my school they got a machine shop they are now replacing the seat should be done HOPEFULLY tomorrow or latest Monday sigh.... cant keep on grinding it down because it would be too much metal so I said FUCK IT and just replace the seat OH and napa is doing it for free




So today MAILMANNNN again my Brian crower springs and titanium retainers came in wommpppp



Side by side with my cams after the seats are done everything will be back together and work on the block



Comparison with the stock and BC stuff





Tomorrow gonna be finishing the head if the head is done if not gonna be taking out the pistons n what not

I live in point... Our local tech school doesnt have auto class... Also the one in rapids, i dont know it they offer to build ur own

Not really a big update just did my measurements on the block/pistons/bore's everything looked good! no play at all on the bores

pistons were all good measured and in spec

freezeeeee plugs taken out for new ones

cleaned the block again! tomorrow gonna be measuring the crank n what not so I can order the bearings




freeze plugs taken out kinda was a bitch but w.e



Comparison cleaned my pistons n obviously the old dirty ones nice n squeaky clean




tossed the block in the washer



and after pretty happy with it gonna paint the outside high temp silver to match




measured the bore with a dial bore gauge everything turned out perfect




celebrate with ramen sooo good also got the new issue of drifting tengoku and option 2




last 2 weeks of class i still have to get my

thrust/main/rod bearings
gasket kit
head gasket
head studs
main studs
piston studs

hey need your help what u think should i get

weds sa60 (rear) gonna be 18 all around or 17/18 regamasters (fronts)

both sets of wheels are gay, so id say neither and save your money for something nice

measured the crank, bearings, rod bearing clearances ill tell ya 3 angle measurements on a crank 5 mains took FOREVER!!!


didnt take pics of the crank measurements cuz it sucked but heres the torque sequence of the sr and it was pretty shitty too the extra 75 degree sucks but yeah heres the sequence and the whole block

Well almost done with the motor! all I need are the ACL main/rod/thrust bearings/Cosworth head gasket/gasket set/ and arp bolts! pavel is gonna re check the motor bore it out for the new CP forged pistons

Ya they are gay compared to what he could have. He spent a but fuck ton of money on the rest of the car why not go with te37's, cr kai's, meisters, gram lights. Instead of regamasters that only look good on anything fwd, and are played out all over hondas. And if i remember correctly he had a cheap ass set of knock offs he was pushing as rare so they were "worth more." And chuck you can stay with your +43 offset, its cute to only have those as fronts with stock in the rear and front overs. new trend?

Back to the build though. Im curious as to why didnt you just keep the tan car and buy the spare sr. Then re-build it instead of buying nackers old car?

judging by the sizes he did buy cr kai's or cr ultimates. but yeah, regas are pretty gay








as far as my +43 offset? whatever. i was test fitting the front end parts when i took that pic. it was like a half hour after this pic



if i gave a fuck i'd create my own build thread and you'd know that it is just temporary. and i have wheels that are a better offset but i'm not building my car for you so whatever. go spray paint some more stuff flat black.
