i posted early about my rb20det so i had a tick i had the head rebuilt got it back together today finally.. I started driving warmed up and it was fine but then i radomly started ticking again at acceleration.. any clues????

Lifter tick, its a nissan thing. If they arent bled correctly itll happen to all nissan motors.

funny thing is i just drove it again it was fine its strange i put in a oil pressure guage to monitor the oil and at cold it will start at like almost 60 but then will drop down to almost 25 then i will hear the tick???? what would that be?

It's lifter tick. Its annoying because itll go away for some time, then all of a sudden show up again. To get rid of it you need a better oil pump. I havent looked at RB20 stuff for a long time, but if you can throw an N1 pump on it, it should help with your frustration.

What weight oil is it and how loud is the tick?

Its 10w30 its not loudi can still hear it under heavy acceleration only when its fully warmed up at oil pressure of 24 25psi
