| i posted early about my rb20det so i had a tick i had the head rebuilt got it back together today finally.. I started driving warmed up and it was fine but then i radomly started ticking again at acceleration.. any clues???? | |

| Lifter tick, its a nissan thing. If they arent bled correctly itll happen to all nissan motors. | |

| funny thing is i just drove it again it was fine its strange i put in a oil pressure guage to monitor the oil and at cold it will start at like almost 60 but then will drop down to almost 25 then i will hear the tick???? what would that be? | |

| It's lifter tick. Its annoying because itll go away for some time, then all of a sudden show up again. To get rid of it you need a better oil pump. I havent looked at RB20 stuff for a long time, but if you can throw an N1 pump on it, it should help with your frustration. | |

| Its 10w30 its not loudi can still hear it under heavy acceleration only when its fully warmed up at oil pressure of 24 25psi | |
