| I pm'd ya.
I Installed an MBC today and did some testing. I set it to stock, made sure I was at 7PSI for a baseline, then gave it 3 full turns for 10PSI (1 turn is supposed to be about 1 PSI). Hopped on the highway and I'll be damned if I didn't spike 15PSI and hit the limiter spinning my tires merging onto the highway. Full boost comes on quick!
Thankfully no melted pistons as it was very brief, but my god that was awesome. I'm normally a V8 guy, but damn.

| They always recomend setting your boost in 4th or 5th gear due to the increased load creating slightly more boost than lower gears. Obviously you can't do that with a MBC. Are you running a wideband to make sure you are not running to lean? That slighly larger turbo could give you issues with out any tuning at "normal" boost levels. So does that turbo feel pretty responsive? I know from research that behind the S15 is one of the more responsive turbos for the SR. It sounds like you have a really nice setup. | |

| No Wb02 for me at the moment. I have heard that 10PSI untuned on a T28 is still within safe limits on stock fuelling parts and ecu.
There really is no good reason for me to want more power as I already have enough that it's dangerous. The lightweight car coupled with the super responsive turbo is amazing. And it pulls hard from just off idle to the redline.

| My biggest issue with the car right now is the tweaked front end. The guy I bought it from hit something on the left front corner and it tweaked the core support a bit with it. The sides of my headlights have always hit the hood, which really sucks. There is a gap between the fenders and hood on both sides as well. I have everything fairly well together for now, but the front end needs to be fixed before any DE's. This is a pic I intentionally left out of the build. The hood came open at highway speeds and hit the roof. Dropped the rearview mirror into my lap. I now have a new hood, but I never trusted the stock hood latch after this - Hence the hood pins I have now. A recent pic. It's messed up bad enough that without the core support installed the hood won't close with the headlight covers on. I am aware it looks bad, really. I have to find a body shop or someone to help me out with this. I tried the ratchet strap and jack tricks and neither works worth a damn. | |

| I'm slacking and not doing homework so I'll post some stuff up instead. I had taken some pictures of the car but they are overexposed and look like crap. I'll have to take some nice ones some day. With the heater setup removed I have no need for heater controls, but to keep the look going I need to do something about the hole in the dash. I pulled the guts out of the controls and glued the buttons and slider in place. Clever, light, and simple. Works for me. Trying out my new +4 Macro lens. The resonator in my super quiet exhaust. Not digging the crush bends or rusty clamps though. Will work on this when funds are available. | |

LS parts are long gone. I am interested in the core support if you are willing to pull it. There is one in great shape just down the road at the pick n pull but I am too busy to spend the time to pull it myself.

| I like what you did with the heater control panel. I want to reuse stock controls for other functions, so it's good to see them opened up cleanly. | |

| The Nissan is currently sitting in the garage, waiting for a factory driver's side motor mount to arrive in the mail. Both solid steel mounts have been sold.
Gotta love having something this easy to work on though. To pull the old motor mounts I unbolted both of them from the x-member, jacked the motor up from under the trans, then crawled under the car and unbolted the mounts from the motor itself. No drama at all, and easier than a spark plug change on anything else I own.
Also found that I am missing 3/4 of a rear wheel stud and it's lug nut. Just gone, no idea where it went. The rest are all still torqued down properly, and I thought that one was too...

| Turned the boost up to 10PSI and took one of my buddies for a first ride. I found I can do a rolling second gear burnout much too easily. Need wider tires. Had to disconnect the DP to install the new stock mounts and found I had an exhaust leak where the DP meets the elbow. Everything is bolted back up and running good. It's even quieter now than it was before. 14 pages and I have yet to say anything important. Good stuff. | |

| Yeah it does sit low, it doesn't want to line up properly to sit higher up either. I made a better video of the car at 10PSI. Left some rubber on the ramp at :14 when I lost traction at the end of second gear. This was just a spirited acceleration run because there was traffic on my closed bridge. https://youtu.be/tOIovLdUbvY | |

| i see that now, but it doesnt seem like much. especially with the forces generated at each shock tower. Seems like an easy way to separate a shock tower. But if its working then hey, keep doing what your doing. | |

| You are free to ignore my tangle of non essential wiring. The car is only a proof of concept at this point. I recall Def on NRR.com mentioning that the core support provides very marginal, if any front end rigidity. The 1/8'' aluminum angle is more than adequate for the task. When I get things situated enough for a trip south to meet nick Z I will be picking up a straight core support from him. If he still has it by then, that is. | |

| You like pictures? I take lots. I just bought a tuned ECU for the SR. Tuned for STI 550 injectors, Z32 MAF, T28 at 15PSI, and 93 octane fuel. Also picked up an N62 MAF sensor from the PnP - Still need to find the Subaru STI injectors. This one looks sad with all the gaps in the front end. Nothing is straight though - It's hard to line things up. Just imagine what my pictures would be like if the car didn't look like shit right now. They'd be friggen awesome. | |

| Also forgot to add, i have a set of 555 side feed JECS injectors if youd rather have a plug and play experience vs sti injectors where you need the caps as well. Way less than 100 miles on them. | |
