| Ok, thanks S13. I picked up a few feet of heater hose and I will make it work. I finished up the harness side of things. All I need to do now is solder in the basic few wires inside the car and the few in the engine bay and I'm ready to run. Also received an email back from the seller(s) that sold me the FMIC, turbo outlet, and downpipe. He says they were all packaged up and shipped in one large box, but yet all I received was the FMIC. So the engine is ready to be dropped in, I have my fluids and other little parts ready to go, and I am going to be held up by this seller. | |

| If it was one large box the seller says he shipped, and all I received was one medium size box it says to me that the exhaust parts were never included in the first place. I sent them a message this morning letting them know that the exhaust elbow and DP weren't included.
Honestly the FMIC box I got doesn't have enough room to fit more than a deck of cards in there with all piping, no idea how they would think a 3'' diameter DP and a turbo elbow would have possibly been inside.

| Who did you order from? That way if you can't get this resolved others will know to stay away from this vendor. Thanks. | |

| I ordered the down pipe and FMIC from just-intercoolers, who has 22K positive feedback. The turbo outlet was from ETD motors, also with 22K positive feedback.
It seems I'm just unlucky. Getting the money back isn't a problem, I have my CC company and paypal to both help fix this.

| Engine is in, new vacuum hoses have been installed, and radiator hoses for the SR->KA rad are ready to go in. Still need to cut a hole for the IC tubing and get started on making some IC mounts as I ditched the stock radiator panel a long time ago. Also had no luck yet finding 5/16 fuel injection line in GB. I sold my old lines with the old KAE intake manifold a year ago. I took a closer look at the coil pack cover and I am convinced it should be easy to replicate a simple bolt on one in Carbon Fiber. I'm thinking metric button head screws would add a nice touch. MMC offers stainless steel, black oxide (A very nice black coating in person), or high visibility blue. Button head screws. | |

| to help with turbo identification, its a journal bearing s14 auto turbo. Not much better than a t25, but it is. Very nice job with that motor, the turbo, clocking plate, the mounts and im pretty sure the s15 444's for injectors.
Looking at that throttle body. If i was you, id peel the intake mani competely off and check the head on the intake side. Id also pull the intake for the turbo and check to see how smooth it is. From personal experience growing up in a hot rod shop. That motor looks like it was in a flood car. Get yourself some new gaskets and start checking out the top end.

| Seems people really aren't sure what type of bearings are in a T28. I've heard both for the same part number. Funny, eh? - Quote :

As for the GTiR are journal bearing the s14 and s15 t28 are BB. I have all three just to validate my answer. S15 better response; GTir has a lager exhaust housing so more potential WHP. - Quote :

GTIR's are supposed to have the same housings for the turbo and compressor but has journal internals. S14's have the BB version. The turbo looks good internally. The CHRA spins beautifully. Everything else looks to be in good shape externally as well. I did check the intake manifold and it looks fine inside. If I just spent 2K on a flood damaged engine, well, no need to go into detail as to my response.

I have the same coil packs with no problem. Do you have the notch top? maybe that fits a little different.

| no. i have one of the rare red tops with ribs on the head. i suppose it could work. but when i set it on there it was sitting on the coils instead of the valve cover so i was just like oh well. | |

- etdmotors I purchased one of ebay item #390016573172 (CXRacing FMIC INTERCOOLER KIT 89-94 240SX S13 SR20det) One of ebay item # 330354195893 (Nissan 240SX S13 S14 SR20DET Stainless Turbo Downpipe) And one of ebay item # 170596635963 (Dump Outlet Pipe S13 Silvia 240SX SR20DET 1989-2003) I received only the front mount intercooler, I did not receive the turbo downpipe or the dump outlet pipe in my order. I have attached pictures of the 1/3 of the order that I did receive, along with the shipping label. In a prior message I was told all three items were to be included in the same box. If you take a look at the measurements of the box you can clearly see that there would be no way possible to fit a three inch wide by three foot long exhaust pipe, or a turbo outlet elbow along with the intercooler parts. I await your response. Jon. ________ Does that look semi professional enough? Also, pics. This is with all of the packing and bubble wrap removed. I was expecting black couplers along with the black hoses, but that's my fault for not reading the fine print. That can come later, after I get the parts I paid for...

Sorry for this, we will file a claim on Fedex and re-ship you the parts you didn't receive.
- etdmotors ___________
I appreciate the assistance and I look forward to receiving the parts. I would appreciate a tracking number if possible.
Thanks, Jon
