no it won't. you don't understand what roll center is. center of gravity yes. RC no. I meant wieght center. My bad, I still stand behind my statement otherwise. There is no reason to re-invent the wheel with this engine. It works and has been engineered pretty well. The small adjustments that you are talking about making won't make a big difference on a street driven car. You worry about a budget, but then you want to fab up all these parts which costs extra money. I understand this is your project and you can do what you want with it. I am just going off of what you said in an earlier post about trying to not spend to much money.

| I do take weight reduction very seriously on my weekend warrior. This car will be seeing very few street driven miles. Also, for comparison, this is my DD. | |

| you have a better shot of the turbo? or do you know if it was upgraded to a s15 t28? it looks like it has the clocking adjuster things on the one outlet there. inlet would wave one too. | |

Inlet has a clocking adapter also. Part number indicates it's either an S14 BB T28, or a BB S15 auto trans T28. I found an SS turbo oil feed line and new bolts with new locking tabs on the turbo. The manifold to block connections also look like they used new O.E hardware. http://nissans15.com/turbo.htm - Turbo info. My turbo is marked 69F00. SS turbo oil feed.

| nice.....i wonder what else is on there.....maybe some cams? better clutch. i'm jelly. all i got with my sr20 was a can of worms....and that was from a person i thought was a friend and i could trust....oops.
edit....might also explain why the EGR tube is crushed closed like that and the lack of that boost solenoid on the igniter plater.

| I do have the boost solenoid, I found it on top of the valve cover. Judging by the stock exhaust manifold and elbow this was likely not a high effort build, unless these parts were swapped back on before the engine was exported. Who knows though. I will pull off the harness, fan, and AC compressor and have a look for anything else that might be out of place. Edit: Did some snooping. Am I doing this JDM thing right? Found some A'pexi branded NGK plugs installed. Also my injectors are all light blue with Nissan markings on them. Couldn't find any info at all about a factory blue top injector. Maybe faded purples? I'll take a picture when it's lighter out. | |

| Mine was 100% stock except for some PITWORKS belts and oil filter. It was really clean though, no dirt outside and no sludge or build up anywhere under the valve cover. Wish I could have gotten a few upgrade right off the bat would have saved some money for me. Looks like you have a great base for your build. | |

| More minor issues. Hopefully minor. I pulled the harness off to start modifying it and I noticed the TB wouldn't open. I pulled the TB off and.... Crap. How deep does this rabbit hole go? The lower plenum looks the same. I'm not sure what it is, but it looks water related. Hopefully with the plenum being below the cylinders it didn't damage anything. | |

| That's what I'm thinking too. I will pull the lower plenum off and see if any damage has been done.
Also, Fedex is toying with me. I had three separate packages all to be delivered today. I was given one package (FMIC) and signed off on that. Tracking says all three delivered and signed for. Gonna have to rattle some heads...

| Anybody know off hand what size diameter the heater hoses on the back on the engine are? I'm looking for a part number as the U-bend in this picture looks perfect for my heater core delete. | |

| I believe the fittnigs on the SR take a 3/4" hose and the 240 heater core has 5/8" fittings. | |
