we tried getting my motor in the car this weekend but ran into a huge problem (had 2 bolts snap into the crankshaft while puting new bolts in the flexplate) but THANKFULLY we got both of them out... titan would of had a big bill to pay.

Which method worked?

On a sidenote, my shitbox works again!

Drove my car to work on a service call a couple nights ago. Everytime I hit boost it made this horrible rushing sound like a leak. Turns out my couplers on my IC were still loose. Nice job retard.. ran fine under vac!

Ummm a lot of methods got the bolt out lol. One was out enough we could grab onto the threads w a vise the 2nd wasn't as easy it was just about flush yes hellaflush w the plate so we tried epozy the bolt head didn't work tried some steel puddy shit didn't work tried the puddy again broke off then took a chizle and hammer and it started threading out!!! I was SO realieved!!

^^ i had that happen before and when it happes your really pissed but when its out you just feel like crying from happines lol. well im glad you guys took it out

You should have asked I have a bolt extraction kit at my house Liz. At least you took car of it though, could have saved you a little bit of time. Does TiRD make any stronger bolts for the flexplate?

Due to recent members, the 2JZ has just been voted the new fanboy motor. Those with an sr can now breathe easy. That is all.

and idk if TRD makes bolts for the flexplate... i used the ones that were provided with my torque convertor where the instructions said use these and torque them to 75 lbs the heads were like half the size, i guess people say the stock bolts get rubbed off with the aftermarket convertor... damnit now my secrets out haha. and i wasn't about to try an easy out or anything into my crank lol. im just so happy we got it out.... thank you chizzle.
saving time? ik we wasted alot this weekend, we were gonna get that motor wired up and ready to drop in, till that happened, i had no more ambition to do anything saturday, and sunday ik got my ass kicked my putting the brake pedel in with the seat and cage... wow. sometimes i wish i was 100more lbs so i could make the skinny kid do that shit. i kinda wish nick got a pic of me upside down head first by the pedels so i could see how awesome i look w/ all the blood rushing to my head.
