Subject: my 240sx sr20det 0- speed limiter Sun Nov 28, 2010 11:24 pm
was rearranging my storage today and decided to bust out the 240 for some footy action. I thought my car had a bog and seemed rich but after making this vid and comparing it to others on youtube it seems about right. does anybody know what the speed limiter is at on a s13 blacktop sr20det??? my guess is 130ish

looks like it moves pretty good, what are the mods on the SR?
I believe the factory speed limiter is somewhere between 120-125mph. Which is 200/kph.

stock t25, manual boost control at 9-10 psi, greddy rs bov, fmic,stainless headers, megan downpipe, the guy i bought it from said it had hks cam, i dont know for sure. rest of engine i think is mostly stock. im trying to find the guy that did the swap so i can ask more questions. i did talk to the 2nd owner from pennsylvania who had it when it was still slow with the KA and 25,000 less miles. then he sold it to the mystery swap guy(MATT THORNTON), then mystery guy sold it to the guy i bought it from.
if anyone knows MATT THORNTON i would like to ask him questions.

I have a similar setup minus the cams. Judging by the video it has cams. My engine starts to flatten out and lose a little acceleration at about 5500-6000 rpm. yours appears to pull hard straight to redline. very nice. I would love to get mine running that hard.
