| Just a quick update... - Trans is back and given a clean bill of health - Waiting on the drive shaft to be checked for balance/run-out - Monster Clutch states that their clutch packages don't need any shims for the slave cyl. or flywheel... with the stock bellhousing. The Quicktime that I put in is just a touch longer, so I need a shim. DAMMIT! | |

| Well I got the drive shaft back today and was told that it vibrated like hell at 60 (whatever the hell 60 is... rpm, mph?), and after greasing the U-joints it went to the max speed, 110 without an issue. Whatever. So I put it all back together with a .055" shim behind the slave cyl and drove around the neighborhood... all seems well so far. My fingers are crossed. | |

| Small update... I haven't been driving the beater lately due to the fact that I'm tired of getting broiled alive inside the car every time I drive it in the warmer weather. After a painstaking template construction (lol), I placed an order at Run Cool Hood Louvers. I think this might just be what I need, without having to fab a cowl/scoop or buy a shitty fiberglass or CF hood that may or may not look decent. Placement isn't set in stone, but I think they'll look great. The black powdercoat finish should be a nice accennt. | |

| Have you thought about a under tray for the car? A lot of work but my buddy had issues with his dsm getting retarded hot all the time. Tried running a lifted hood, no hood, tried building ducting to force air through the rad and still had problems. Under tray was the last resort and helped a lot but still ran a bit hot. | |

| My problem isn't overheating, it's high under hood temps from idling. I do plan on making some sort of under tray though. | |

| The dmax and related knockoffs come with girl pants that don't fit me.
Trust me, no fucks will be given about cutting holes in the hood. I have a spare. | |
