95 240sx "the midnight mistress"

well hello , im tony and my fiance heather and this is our build.
shorty story to how and why. about 3yrs ago my hunny had to let go of the one thing she bust her ass liturelly , she got hit and draged by a jeep for a mile by a lady on a cell phone had it not been for the drug unit she probably be dead , so god thank you for my love.

well things got bad and i lost my job ,car ,house,and she told me the day i got fired she was preagnet with my sayuri. good news sucky timeing, but wouldnt trade ot for the world.

so i told myself first chance i get i want to get her car back for here as a thank you for her sacrifice.

so this is what it look like when we got it


her trip home was long but safe


once home it started!even my nani was excited lol


trasveled almost 14 hours in one night to source parts and pick them up just so i could suprise her in the morning by opening the garage and saying ta-ta


ok so there not flush or jdm or anything drift or anything like that but there wide and i belive its a good start.


after about a week. by the way if you spot something you sold me thank you again for working with my crazy pick up hours you guys help alot.


inlaws garage got crowded so she had to re-locate and did so at 2am on a friday, stopped at mcD's for late dinner.




her about 4 weeks ago before i figure out the motor was trash and the trans shift bad

she needs work but im willing to do it all myself if need be for my girl she deserves it , most get the wrong idea when we meet due to my appearance and stature. im easy going and loyal like blood to veins. i have a short fuse for assholes and shit talkers trying to talk a humble person down like trash. im simple and learn by dueing my familys 1st.

i work hard and im a bone head the jokes alot but ill hve your back for life even when all run i stand firm.

im not sure what im doing but im learning a day at a time , so any advice is good advice. thank you for your time guys and great fourm.

You can swap in a V8 for the price of an Sr... It's not that far out of reach.

wow thank you all, dame i thought it was nice but , im really feeling good now , thank you all very much , and yeah sr and rb are cool but im looking for instante floor Hp response with minimal add on and wear due to bolt ons ls1 W ls3 heads just seem write plus my neighbor is big in to muscle so he's helping me out , hope i can come to you guys for help when the time comes.

im counting on it , ive been all over your thread soaking in info trying to really grasp cost and labor , plus i want to do it all my self no shop . it would just be good on hands for me plus it means more to my girl.

what are you planning on doing with the car? Racing it? Weekend cruiser? Drift car? And what wing is that? More pics please. And i think its time for some suspension stuff to get rid of the 4x4 look. Other than that, looks good so far. Props on color matching. Saw the pic without the kit painted and thought rice, but color matched makes a worlds of difference for it. Keep up the good work. Where did you have it painted?

and its my wifes cruiser she just want to learn how to the the mistress first before any road racing but she's aiming at gynkana style race.

its actually dropped ill post pics later of her lowered.
and im playing with the idea of 1 off metal wide body in the near future
got control arms and tenstion rods but i want to rip the under carriage and go over back to front and get all the rust out.
at the moment doing home work on how to approch the write way.

metal wide body sounds good, but shes going to race it later on, then its bad. Its the same as molding wide quarters on. They always crack cause s-chassis' flex really bad. Would be awesome for a show car. But if you want to go side and race the car then go with rivets so itll flex with the chassis. Just going off of previous experience.

i mean it all will be molded ,welded , and tucked clean.

The welding sheet metal part isnt the bad part. Its the using filler (bondo) to smooth everything out to make it look pretty. Thats where the cracks show up.
