well snowmobiling is my main goal in life, so I know a fair share about them.
The one you have may be the first snowmobile produced by Arctic Cat as a company, my buddy and i recently dragged a POLAR 500 (what is left of a polar 500) out of the woods which was the model before yours and before arctic cat was a company. this past few weekends idr which one it was but nick took some more shit off around the engine bay getting the motor ready to get pulled the f out of there... i was working inside the car at the miles of wires i have under there for the gauges, gadgets etc etc... its a messssss oooo man.
i think were gonna have a new years party on the 1st and maybe pull the rear ends out of the cars and swap them... soo if anyone isn't gonna be hung over or wants to come over after, feel free. haha.

I'm in!!!! Should have the whole weekend off.

an update::
started pulling shit off the white car (thanks to nick and dustin!)
got alot more out of the gray car (thanks to nick and myself haha)
i bought a weld in cage. certified for 10.0 at the track, i shouldn't have to worry about tech lol. its not installed... it will be in spring when the car is done.
car might stay white for a while b/c i spent my money on the cage first (it was on sale, i do sales)

anyways....
im hoping to have an update after this weekend, we plan on taking the KA out... finaly.
and swaping the rear ends since the gray car has the silvia vlsd and the white cars stock.
anything else is a plus, might do a few lil things here and there but well see!!!

this thread needs more pictures!

but until then, the rearends were swapped this weekend from the 2 cars, and the KA24E that used to power the 19k mile virgin is gone!

now to start putting it back together....

update:::
the KA and the 2JZ are pulled! the KA has been sold to j240sxxxxxxxxxxx and the trans was sold w/ my black coupe. the 2jz is awaiting the white car to come back from the shop where its getting a 6point weld in certified cage to 10.flat at the track, pulled and rolled fenders, and the battery tray rust fixed.
in the meantime weve been swapping out parts...
swapped out the rear subframes
all suspension pieces
crossmembers/steering rack/tierods
pedels
gauges... etc etc lol.
motors out!! got some crazy friends........

stock crossmember... just a pic.

its home for a few weeks....

im taking off the ac lines to junk them!

i decided to paint the intake manifold a better color b/c before it was all dirty and full of filth lol








i also installed my new 750cc injectors onto their new fuel rail! its gonna be getting 2 AN line fuel lines as well.. thatll be fun to do lol. and another walbro and FPR.



some other things too thatll make it run nicer!
i will post pics once i get the car back w/ its new cage!!
