haha. last october i was finally gonna do paint and body work to the gray car so i started stripping the paint off the door... then asked around for pricing on repairing the roof (ill post some pics later today of it, the whole support is hanging like an inch from where its suppost to be, theres a million dents in the roof, a huge dent in the quarter panal and the front core support is damaged too, all from the previous owner) and ppl told me it was gonna be hard to fix and might take a while meaning alot of $$ so i decided id swap everything into a cleaner dent free (also rust free but the gray car wasn't rusted so that wasn't a problem) coupe. this coupe has 19k miles on it!! heads up display, power everything. 5spd, (was i should say lol...) and it was the perfect price. so nick found it on craigs list, called me asap, i sent him money and he towed it up here! - VNG704 wrote:

She is patient and waits for it. hah yea, most of the stuff ive bought i bought when it went on sale or was cheap. i had bought most of everything before i even bought the motor lol. but finding the car was fate or something. i think i was in the air if i wanted to get a new car or just fix my gray one, and over a weekend i decided hell im gonna get a loan for a little amount, and find a clean ass shell.... we were looking at a white coupe w/ silvia front end, some coils etc etc in cali, and was gonna drive it home, then that mon i called and got approved for the loan and was gonna go in that fri to get the money... 4 hrs after i called the bank, nick called saying 'i found your car' thats a little story for all yallllllllll. | |

| lol, it makes it that much cooler that its an auto, everyone and their mother has to have a 5 speed. But you also seem more into straight line racing and cruising. Its your build and your money. So let them all bitch. | |

| No its not just that. I love road racing and I go to road america prob 5 or so times a year.. I made it auto for everyone who says autos are boring and slow. Its an all around good car, street driving, hasn't been to the track yet. But hoping this year it'll do one pass. And possibly the event at road america in oct it'll be there. No drifting, prob not any autocross either.. | |

| auto's are boring. but from a drag racing perspective they are better. i hate slush boxes though. every time i drive one i get so annoyed by the stupid poorly timed shifts. lol. | |

| i like to be in control of the car not the car in control of me. but for drag racing there is nothing better than auto. | |

| When it comes to really enjoying a car at a circuit track nothing beats a manual. Just my opinion. But that coupe is coming out very well and its all about your taste. | |

| To me a manual is only >auto when it comes to competitive road racing. If you're going to RA for an MFBA etc. event and not doing SCCA type shit then having an auto will be just fine. Hell I've been driving my 5sp for 6 years now and at times it gets really fvcking old. | |
