| I have this saved for the eventual run ins with johnny law. This basically explains what WI requires your vehicle to have for it to be legally used on a highway. http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/347.pdf - Equipment http://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/346.pdf - Rules of the road Also, this is some good stuff too. http://www.dot.wisconsin.gov/statepatrol/enforcement/faqs-enforcement.htmRemember, some officers may try to tell you otherwise for many of these things. It's important to know these laws! Also, - Quote :
- What is the height requirement for vehicle bumpers?
For cars, the requirement is two-inches plus or minus manufacturers' specifications. My weight reduction lift has made my Nissan illegal. And I like this one. - Quote :
- May you ride in the back of a pickup without a topper?
Yes, if you are over 16 years of age and seated in the box. It is illegal to sit on the sides. No child under the age of 16 may ride in the open cargo area of light trucks. People disagree with me that this is legal...

No. You should have no problems as long as you are sitting inside the bed itself. Pretty sweet, huh?
