| Is it possible to convert the awd 6 speed to just be rwd not sure if i could pull the tcase off and get a tail shaft from a rwd trans and mount it to the awd making it a 6speed rwd trans cause i know the t case can be pulled but not sure if any tail shafts will fit on that trans?? | |

| im normally a gm guy and ik i can take my trans and take it from rwd to 4wd or awd depending on the tcase all day and its simple bolt patterns are the same on the rwd tail shafts as they are on the tcase, but im not sure on how the nissan transmissions are | |

| which trans do you have? rb trans' cant be converted, easily, to rwd only. Most people just go and get an rb25 rwd trans, but if you want 6 speed(weak ass will break on you trans) look for a 350z 6 sped and look on xccesive engineering's website for a conversion mount plate. | |

| Lots of stupid pointless work for a weak ass trans. rb25 rwd transmission ive heard can handle abuse. Never tried it myself tho. 600 has one for sale ask him how much power his rb made. | |

| what are your plans for the car? One piece front sounds like a really bad idea if you plan on racing, drifting, or just being low. Anything you hit after 45mph makes fiberglass front bumpers explode. SO if its molded to your fenders, then they will be gone as well.
If you do it tho, keep the mounting edges so you can bolt them together (front bumper to fenders) then clearance the gap/body line and add fiberglass to smooth the lines. Makes a much stronger bond of the pieces. | |
