I guess I have to post up some sort of intro.

Names Shane, And I live in Oshkosh WI, have for most of my life, lived in Wautoma for a several years, then fell in love, and moved to good 'ol Merrill WI, that lasted a couple years, lost the girl, and the job, so I moved back to where it all started.

Been browsing the forums for the last several days. Found out about the forum, thanks to mattchow88, when he let me drive his 240, and I saw his stickers =P

I don't own a 240, yet. Still debating if I want to buy one or not, original plans were to swap a ka24de-t into my trusty s10, but I might save myself the hassle, and get a 240 instead, since I'd need a daily while I have a project and all.

welcome, but if your more into trucks and dead set on a ka24de-t setup. Go for a nissan d21 pickup and ditch the s10. ka's are a direct fit in them plus if you into fab work, an s13 rear subframe will fit the frame rails (just need posts to bolt it to or weld it solid).

The biggest thing is, I don't care for the looks of the Nissan trucks. I love my chevy's prefer the 'old' body style s10's (82-93)
I think I'll be better off getting a project 240 (preferably hatch) and using the s-10 for daily.

Guess I'll have to save up some money, and buy one, I've been looking around, (not hard enough I guess) and havn't found too many for a 'decent' price.

Whats a decent price for a clean hatch with a ka24de?

I think I went to Merrill in 5th and 6th grade ...85-86... Then wautoma, dafoe, from 86-88... My names Rob Risch... Probably dont know each other.. I think I'm one of the oldest guys on this site... I'm 37 and LOVE my 240 addiction!

Yeah you're a few years older than I am =P (graduted from Merrill High in 07)

Lived half a block from Dafoe though =P Then they tore it all down and built houses.

Pretty sure there isn't an age restriction on liking 240's or any sort of cars for that matter.
