| Figured id start a build thread beacause there is tons i plan on doing to my car. When i first got it about 3 weeks ago, it wasnt really in the best shape i couldve asked for. It was missing interior pieces, missing a grille, bad suspension, pretty beat to shit.. So far ive basically cleaned it up to get it out of the state it was in. Alot more modding coming soon! The day i got my s14 After having it for about a week, i painted the rims white and picked up a grille and radio brackets from the kid who had the car before the guy i got it from... And how it sits now, lowered on emusa coilovers until winter when i do my full suspension rebuild and all the body work. Forgot to add, i just picked up a carbon fiber trunk lid on friday night | |

the passenger side door and lower rear quarter panel are dented in from a previous owner hitting a snowbank, its getting a new door and a widebody, and i may be doing a kouki conversion i cant decide yet though... | |

And who are you? Did i tell you this personally? I have no idea who you are. Must be hearing it through someone who cant keep there mouth shut about anyone I believe the only person on this forum that i personally talked to about this situation was flicktitty. But correct, i sold the car because i cracked the strut tower and needed to reconstruct it, and didnt have the cash. When it was sitting for a few days in my garage on jackstands, i took a crawl underneath and saw some stuff which prooved It was turning into a bigger project than i had wanted. I sold the 240, was looking for another 240, but they were all garbage that i came across in my price range. I started looking for ls1/lt1 cars, all were either beat to hell or high milage, and i came across a grand prix. Its in mint condition, looks like it just came off the lot. It has no rust, no dents, no scratches anything. For those of you who dont know i traded my first 3800 car and got the 240 simply because i was getting no cash or decent trade offers so i took the kid up on the deal. Before trading if i was able to sell my lumina i was going to get a grand prix anyways to turbo it, but got the 240 on impulse. It was a fun car while i had it but just wasnt me so im back in a 3800 powered car. Its just what im comfortable in. I know plenty of people with them, great group of people, as all you are to, and they support me with anything i do. I had cash leftover after buying the grand prix so i didnt have extra money laying around to buy it. And if you really heard whatever your saying from me, it would be clear that i could have fixed the 240's strut tower damage, but not until november because of bills i have to pay. So i got in a car i know, and that im perfectly fine driving. FWD, i dont care, its a car. It gets me from point a to point b, and is in mint shape. After this month, my financial situation will be normal again and modding on the gp can start, yes i have big plans, but its what I WANT to do, so tough shit. Like i said, the 240 was a fun car, just wasnt all me. Thanks to all you who helped answer my questions these last few months and i defiantly had some good times at the meets! Im sure ill see some of you around!
