| Hi all. My name's Yung. Just thought I'd "open up" a bit to what I've been working on and where I'm at. I have a red 91 hatch, 5-speed. When I picked it up, it had.... A custom exhaust done, from header all the way back to an N1 style muffler. Its a bit short so the opening is sitting right underneath the rear bumper. bad. The clutch fan was removed and an electric fan was installed, but didn't work. A/C disconnected but still in there. Power steering leaks like hell. Eibach Sportline springs all around. KYB AGX up front, still good. Dead stockers in the rear. 50+ different fishing lures stuck in the carpet in the trunk. Antenna was removed, but the unit was still somewhere in the quarter panel. Battery drainage problem. Leaking fuel injectors. Emission was partially removed. Pipe was leaking exhaust into the bay from the manifold. Ugh. Missing mirror glass on the passenger side. All right, I think I listed everything that wasn't stock/normal... As far as cosmetics, I'm not too worried about it, here are some photos if you haven't seen it yet. As I got her. No rust. Just very dirty and dented up. Oh, the odo reads about 170k. =/ Haha, I'll continue this another day with what I've done to it so far just to get it to an "okay" condition. Okay enough to drive around, I mean. AND future plans and what my intentions are for this car. Stay tuned.

So I rigged it. Now my e-fan works and my battery doesn't drain anymore. Two birds with one stone. - theboy wrote:

It was a special price from a very close friend who never touched it (he bought it and went into the air force), lets say its dirt cheap. No rust. Strut towers are SUPER CLEAN. Rocker panels are spotless. Frame rails are awesome. Very sturdy platform for me to build on.

Hahaha, I just gotta get something done with the exhaust, that's all. It'll be out soon. Oh, and I gotta take apart my rear struts again to throw in the new bellows I just bought. Yea, haha. I was too anxious to drive it around the block, I went without one side.. - traohikcod4 wrote:

Will do! Thanks! Once I have more time to work on it, I'll look deeper into it to see how bad it really is. For now, it looks like its leaking out of the pump itself instead of the lines. So we'll see. I've got my daughter with me for half her summer break, so its really hard for me to work on the car when I just wanna spend time with her too. Lol. I'll be ordering parts here and there though, gettin ready for when she goes back to her mom.

| All right so far, gr2's in the rear to get rid of my dead stockers. agx are staying in the front along with the sportlines all around. I threw on the f/r stb. Coming next is some rucas, traction rods and toe arms for the rear. New test pipe and catback (lookin at megan type 2)... 225/45s all around. sloooow, sloow progress with this one, so please bear with me. here's a pic where you can really see the damage on the side. and ugh, my ratty hood, probably sunburned and got primer sprayed. and the previous owner told me the bumper got hit by a snow plow while it was covered in snow. | |

Dude, you can do that to yours. Lol. I'm building mine the way I like it. I don't like "hellaflush fitment" style too much anyway. I mean, it looks good, don't get me wrong, but I'm not a drifter and it would have no benefit for me whatsoever. To be honest, what got me into cars was GLD in Union Grove. So yea, I like my drag races and I love me some spirited driving along the back roads with some nice turns here and there.

| Thanks kouki_chee.
Small update. I just placed my order for a megan type 2 catback and a test pipe. =)
I hope it gets here by this weekend so I can get my hands a lil dirty.
This is the only thing preventing me from driving this car more often. I dislike my N1 with the rattling custom pipe very much. Lol.
EDIT: Probably end up checkin my front end alignment too while my hands are dirty. It feels a bit off.
EDIT #2: So EVERY place is on back order (that I checked so far) for the Type 2's. Even the Megan Racing company was all out of stock on those. They're waiting for the manufacturing plant to crank some up.
Just gonna go ahead and get my RUCA and toe arms in the meantime.

| Small update. My Isis RUCA and toe arms are comin in later today (Monday). This week marks the last week for the back order on the Megan exhausts, if true, hopefully I'll get to place my order for that. *fingers crossed* P.S. I was kinda upset because my parts have been sitting in Oak Creek since Friday night and they won't allow me to come pick it up. | |

| Generic f/r STB's. Its sturdy enough to function. So they're good. Just got my Isis rear upper control arms and rear toe arms traction rods, will be installing them some time this week.
