Subject: How can I tell what kind of turbo I have? Sat Nov 16, 2013 10:27 pm
I have a garrett turbo and I want to figure out what it is. It has .50 stamped on it
I can upload pics tomorrow or something.
Im guessing its a T3/T4? but I know nothing about turbo's thats why I ask.

Likely a t3/t4 50 trim. AR should be cast into the exhaust housing too.

I'm going to attempt to rebuild it. any words of advice?

Mark the wheels/shaft so you get them back together exactly how they came apart. You really should have it balanced after you rebuild it, but many guys don't.
