| alright here is an update for everyone Before easter my storage unit was broken into Luckily the big things were still there. But they took all my tools and random bolts and stuff. Slightly pissed me off But Oil pan is on Slave cylinder is done with right fittings and lines. New master cylinder with fittings is on Motor is in the car finally After a bit of trouble Headers are on mounts tightened and trans mount on After a few hiccups its looking pretty good Here are some pics I have taken Jill was a big help threw everything she took the sway bar off by herself. And she helped pound out the transmission tunnel Got my swap parts in Jill put the sway bar on herself too So the wiring is done and he each is tuned I am waiting for a piece to come in today so I can finish the fuel system and get a line made today also Then finish up the clutch line stuff There will be more work done this weekend With my businesses starting I'm hoping to have time to finish it soon | |

| Nice progress! I love the V8 swap. Its on top of my swap list at the moment, whenever I get around to it. That,s awesome you got lucky enough to get an entire setup from a car like that. I've seen that the truck motorsets can be had for fairly cheap, but that means sourcing a MT, accessories, intake manifold etc from a car anyway.
Anyway, keep us updated!

| Thanks. And your right about the truck stuff
I went into this swap kind of blind folded Got it for a good price so I figured why the hell not
If everything goes smooth (which it won't) Should get started up by the end of the month

| I have parts for you....
Tick Performance F'd up and sent me another order from someone else when I ordered my shims. It's no big deal, just 15/16 3rd/4th billet keys and springs for the T-56, but my trans is already built, and Tick told me to keep them or give them to someone that needed them when I called to let them know.

| Awesome!
One question, and I apologize if you covered it earlier, but how is the wiring handled for your swap? I assume you have the engine harness and ECU from the donor car, but do you have to hard-wire it into the 240 chassis harness at all (for fuel pump/ignition?)?
When your all finished, I would love to see it first hand! I'm sure it would help me make a decision as to which swap I want to do.

| Yes no problem I got the stock ecm from the caramo tuned with the basic deleting theft shit and rear o2 sensors and stuff
And I sent the harness from the 240sx (engine upper and lower) and the hardness from the ls1 to a friend He did it all for me
But if you look online like ls1tech and v8silvia (per 600sx) They have a shit ton of info
Look at his build too
