The reasons are almost endless but the most important reason would be the lack of parts availability and the cost to hand build a car. I am sure nobody wants a $120,000 bone stock boring S chassis. | |

| Tooling/facilities also get "reused" and "recycled". What once produced the S chassis via dies and molds have either been sold or destroyed. That same square footage now produces a Nissan Leaf for instance. Just out with the old in with the new. No possible way to get new S13's, when the S14's took over the S13 crap was already gone/moving its way out (i know about overlap years of 180SX/S14, just sayin). | |
