| Thats cool everything important like an oil pan i plane it smooth so i can guarantee the seal.
If your going with that pan you may want to look into the n2 oil block as well. Cheap easy way to get more oil into the system, run a cooler and oil filter relocation. Without having the worry of a screw on version coming off. Im running one and the quality is 2nd to none. Only thing i did was re-tap one of the 1/8"pt oil senor holes to use my autometer sending unit.

I have a trust/greddy oil filter relocation kit already and that comes with the screw on adapter that is a quality piece. once i do boost up and turbo upgrade i will worry about a cooler. stock setup i am not gonna worry about it.... right now it looks like i am gonna go with the moroso. found a deal on one that is hard to pass up.

| i hear ya. But it is a very nice piece that will make it so your not welding to stock sheet metal. Plus its basically a built in windage tray. And you can still run a high capacity oil pan. Big plus for any nissan motor | |

| yeah...it was either that or an ebay greddy knockoff. decided to get the tomei because it has a shorter name...easier to remember since i am getting old. plus if you pronounce it wrong it rhymes with "on the way" | |

| it's hard to explain but most of my mods are turning out to be shit that nobody liked from 99-02. pink paint, wangan wing, sileighty, etc. in the end, it will work out and you will love it or hate it. there won't be much middleground. | |

| so at like 9:30 last night i got sick of being in the house and blah blah blah. went up and fired up the wood stove.....was only like 33 degrees in the shop. had to jack up my low ass car.....first i had to jack it up a little to put a couple 2x4's under the tire so i could get at the frame rail. lolz one side up then i started taking off the old control arm, tension rod, knuckle/hub. noticed the tie rod end was janky so i decided to put my tein tie rods on. i hate inner tie rods. mainly because of lack of confidence since steering is a vital issue. ran into a problem with the ten inners trying to get my tie rod tool on it. the crows foot doesn't go deep enough to fit it. so i took the bench grinder to it to make it deeper. success! then i torqued it on, put on the outer and put the rest of the shit on. s14 knuckles, FLCA, extended studs, uras poly sway endlink bushings, peak performance tension rods, yashio factory core support guards, Z32 26mm front calipers and SS braided conversion lines. this pic just shows it all mocked up...at about 3:30 the shop had only warmed up to like 46 degrees and my toes were freezing off so i decided just to finder tighten it all and call it a night. now i have to find my luglock key to do the other side. haha | |

| my tomei came today...doesn't really look that much shorter than the ARC. this pic it looks smaller....but it is just the angle i think.....and my car isn't sitting flat since the front is on jackstands craftsmanship is what you'd expect from tomei. no sloshie plates in the arc...it was apparently optional though i guess yeah... yeahhhhhhhhh. | |

| it is smaller in capacity, but as far as height goes, i'm not sure.....maybe because it isn't as long on the one end that hangs down? that is my only guess. the ARC is forsale if anyone is interested...i am still trying to find the damn hardware for it. i have it somewhere. | |
