New guy from Mad-town.

Just found this forum the other day in someone's craiglist ad randomly so I decided to check it out.

My name is Ian and I have a 1990 hatch. I race it competitively almost every Sunday (tire wear allowing) in Auto-X and run with MSCC, FVSCC, WAI and SCCA.

Here are a few pics, the first ones are the day I got her.
















Here is her first few autox, 4x4 representin in G stock baby.










Added a few items to enhance the driving experience.















Installed.















New kicks, before paint.






All stripped, DA sanded to new condition.







Added some of this.







Got this as a result. Should look good contrasted against the Maroon paint.











I would put them on now but I have these baby's to wear out before I buy tires for next years racing season.







Next season I will be stepping it up to 255/40/17 Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Specs for the above rims.

She cleans up real nice and I will actually have her in the Autorama car show getting featured in the Madison Sports Car Club booth near the entrance so come check it out if you would like to chat or meet up. Autorama is on the 19th of Sept, which makes it this up coming Sunday. It is going to be located at 3444 South Riverside Dr, Beloit WI and will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission being $6.00 for adults, $2.00 for 8-15 yr olds and under 8 is free admission.

There will be over 1300 cars in the show with everything from imports to domestics with a VERY large emphasis on domestics. Ha.

I will post all of the events for the tail end of this season in the events section. I am sad to say this is the extreme tail end of the season with only a few clubs having their last races. Kind of a bad time as far as racing goes since the season is just about done.

I don't have any pics with the new wheels on because my race tires are 15's and 4 lug. This winter (in a month or so) I will be putting the car away for winter anyways so I will have oodles of time to put on my new wheels, hubs, brakes and roll the fenders accordingly.
