| ok so i have been doing some research i am trying to find a starter for a ca18det rwd... i see some sites say that an 86 pulsar works for it... but then others dont... then i see that an s12 start with the single cam (ca18et) works and also CA20E starter from 84-88 200SX works too? im getting so confused bc half these fourms its just kids saying yes i think and no i think... and when i feel i find a for sure answer... someone else goes and says no... idk how much any of you guys know about ca18det swaps or w.e but if you know help would be great... and if you can post a link if they have a link to buy on bc i am trying to order it asap... heres what i found... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]read that this one works idk theres plenty more other links, its just i have read so much and i dont wanna end up buying the wrong one.... | |

| I don't know for sure, but I would imagine it would.
BTW, I think they need to say Nissan 1 more time.
"Your Nissan 200SX starter turns over the engine to start it. If you hear just a "click" sound when you turn the key then your Nissan 200SX starter may be the culprit. If your problem is the Nissan starter then check out our full line of OEM Nissan starters. If you can’t find the Nissan starter you need in our Nissan automotive parts online catalog, please call toll-free at 1-888-267-1845. Lowest everyday prices on every Nissan starter."

| This guy did a write up on doing the 200sx starter, but only with the sr20det flywheel and clutch swap. I'm not sure if it will work if you keep the ca's flywheel. So you might wanna do some more research on that. anyway, here's the link so you can read for yourself. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| It is on 124th just south of Silver Spring(maybe a 1/4 MI.). They are on the East side of the road with a Neon sign that say they rebuild starters and alternators. Should be really easy to find. | |

| well i got a new one and when i go to start it it was rubbing on the flywheel like the teeth werent fitting in the flywheel
even tho the starter where %99.9 identical besides that plug when i fixed and one whole wasnt threaded so i had to get a lockin washer and bolt...
so i ordered another one if that dont work, im gonna get it rebuilt... bc im not push starting my car for the rest of my life lol | |
