HELP WITH MY RB25!!!!

Okay so here is the scoop! I got her running...finally. I switched the apexi pfc for a stock computer, fired right up. She runs and idels great but then I give it gas it bogs out. I'm guessing because it should have 440's but it has 550's. So i got a stock fuel rail and injectors. The 550's that are in there now are huge. They look like dsm injector. And its like the intake manifold is made to run them that big because I put the stock rail and injector in and there is like an inch to an inch and a half gap. Sooooooo, I'm thinking either keep the 550's in there and use an safc to lean it out or get a stock or aftermarket intake manifold and just use the stock injectors. Is there anyone that is good with wiring safc's and tuning on them, or is there someone with an intake manifold they know works with the stock manifold that is willing to let it go for cheap? Let me know asap! I have cash in hand for parts and maybe someones time to wire that in!

i can wire and tune them. however i can also do the same with a power fc. do you have a wide band in your car?

Stock injectors aren't 440cc. You need to go to the RB forums on nicoclub and do some reading. You need to take pictures of what you are talking about.

i wouldnt run a safc, take a picture of this "gap" your talking about. Also take a picture of the intake manifold so we can see which one you have. If you have a Power FC then all the tuning youll ever need to do is rite there. Use that to your advantage instead of wasting money for something you dont need. Theres a guy a zilvia in northern IL selling a bunch of RB stuff. Im sure hes got an intake mani for cheap.

**edit** also, get us some part numbers on both sets of injectors. Im sure someone here can figure out what exactly you have.

Sounds good. Do you have a forward facing intake manifold? I assume you do since you aren't swearing up a storm about replacing the injectors.

Yes I do. Honestly it looks homemade. The dude said it was greddy but I have never seen a greddy that looks like this.

Interesting... the greddy is a sand cast manifold.

No that's not a greedy intake manifold lol. It's some home made bs. Get a stock intake manifold, you'd be better off.

I may have a factory manifold. If I do, it's in my shed and its too goddamn hot to go out there and look right now.

Did you happen to find your stock manifold and do you have the gaskets?

I forgot to look. I definitely won't have an intake to head gasket. I may have the upper to lower IM gasket. I will check when I get home for you.

I found the manifold and the gasket that goes between the upper and lower. I may or may not have the bolts.
