| Hello all! My name is Steve, I currently reside in Sioux City, IA. I have owned a couple s13s in my day, a 92 fastback and a 93 coupe, both KAs. The story behind my current 89 coupe started in 2009. My father purchased the car for 300 in Texas, where we lived at the time, with hopes and dreams of restoring it to its former glory...if not better. In early 2010 he was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma and passed away 10 months after the initial diagnosis. Since then my mother and I have made it our mission to complete his project s13 and have since done a redtop sr swap(came with t28 turbo, cams, uncut harness, already tuned ecu), 5mt swap, 3" kakimoto exhaust, suspension, brakes, fuel system upgrades, fmic, some interior work and a bunch or rewiring (for some reason the PO thought itd be fun to cut wires and ghetto rig things all over...smh). Anyway my mother keeps the car at her house in Monroe WI which is why I chose to join this forum more local to her and the car. I have already found many of you and your information very helpful and ive delt with a couple people through the classifieds who are great people. Right now im at work but ill post more pics soon and start a build thread since this build is ongoing and we have actually had to move the entire build 3 times now.... But anywho this intro is really more about the car than me.... My other rides include: 95 Nissan Maxima 5MT (Summer DD) 95 Subaru Legacy Wagon AWD (Winter DD) 93 Ford SHO (Beat-The-Hell-Out-Of-It-Mobile) 92 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 #65/1000 (My project car) | |

| Welcome. Damn man, sorry to hear about your father. That car would definitely make him proud, correct engine with correct turbo in correct chassis. A thing of beauty.
I also rock(ed) nearly the same cars as you do, its almost uncanny.
2000 Maxima (current DD) 1998 Legacy Wagon AWD (new/current DD) 1990 240sx (red top SR) 1991 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 (#34/2000) - sold to make room for S13.
Need to get me a SHO! Ha! | |
